When can I access the kitchen?All customers schedule time through our third-party scheduling platform. Members have access to the kitchen 24/7. Standard hours for non-members are 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Each session has a 3-hour minimum.

What are the requirements for use of the kitchen?Anyone who cooks, prepares, or uses the kitchen has to have general liability insurance and be registered with the Health Department. For assistance, please refer to the Helpful Links section of our Membership page. Chefs/vendors/patrons are expected to follow the rules and regulations of Lakou as soon as they enter the premises. These rules and regulations keep both you and your fellow community members safe and uphold federal, state, and local laws.

How often is the Lakou kitchen cleaned and maintained?Each chef is responsible for cleaning their workstation and equipment after every shift. As a health and safety measure, Lakou has a professional cleaning company that routinely cleans the kitchen. Additionally, every 3 – 6 months, the kitchen equipment receives maintenance to ensure proper function and safety.

What is the cancellation policy?Cancellations must be processed before 72 hours to not be charged. A cancellation fee is charged for the full cost of your rental if canceled within 72 hours of your rental session. Memberships may be canceled with 30 days' written notice if the minimum 6-month commitment has been met. Please contact us directly if a cancellation request is outside the scope presented.
